The year before this flew by, a blip albeit a gigantic one, in history.
Between the last post and this one:
- our family grew by one sweet toddler from Taiwan.
- we grew (are growing) our learning and emotional muscles around parenting, adoption trauma, grief and loss
- we’re surviving a pandemic 😷
- both Brad and I shifted our work
- the school aged kids are learning from home
- my grandmother went to be with her Maker
How do I even count all that has changed, developed and grown over the last year? It feels like so much has happened, yet the pace is slow. We can’t do much, yet there’s so much struggle. This year promises more change. Perhaps this pandemic merely highlights the constancy of change.
